“Jawan,” featuring Shah Rukh Khan in the lead role, is generating immense anticipation as it gears up for release in the next five days. The film is already receiving significant attention, with its advance booking sales outpacing those of SRK’s previous blockbuster, “Pathaan.”
Within just two days of opening advance bookings in India, “Jawan” has sold over four lakh tickets in three languages: Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil. This strong demand suggests that “Jawan” is poised for a remarkable opening day performance, potentially surpassing the all-time box office records set by “Pathaan.”
As of now, “Jawan” has grossed Rs 13.17 crore from advance sales alone. The film is expected to continue attracting audiences, with the peak ticket sales anticipated on Wednesday and Thursday. If the current pace holds, “Jawan” could achieve a colossal opening day collection ranging from Rs 70 to 75 crore, factoring in both advance sales and on-the-spot bookings.
To provide context, “Pathaan” had an opening day collection of Rs 57 crore in India. “Jawan” appears poised to set a new all-time record for a Hindi/Bollywood film on its opening day, based on the tremendous pre-release ticket sales momentum.
It’s important to keep in mind that these projections are based on early indicators, and actual box office results may vary depending on various factors once the film is released.
